Faversham and Whitstable Palestine Solidarity Campaign presents a screening of the acclaimed film Five Broken Cameras
Friday 29th November 2013 @ 7.30 pm
Whitstable Labour Club
A deeply personal film made by farmer Emad Burnat, recording first-hand the non-violent resistance of Bil’in inhabitants to the bulldozing of their olive groves to build the Wall and take land for the illegal settlement Modi’in Illit. The Wall’s route cuts off 60% of Bil’in farmland.
Burnat records the growth of his baby son, born at the same time the resistance started, and the way these events affect his family and friends.
The screening is free but donations are invited.
